Blogs vs. traditional web pages

I can’t pretend to be an expert at blogging but I have quickly learned its potential to be a great communicating tool. Where the traditional web page is generally just communicating one way, a blog opens the lines of communication both ways in an informal format. It is a way to both invite and display feedback from the readers easily through the comments feature. Furthermore, with the ease and increased use of blogs, this technology tool is here to stay.

  1. Hi Julie,
It certainly does open the lines of communication both ways...inviting and displaying feedback, as you said!! I don't dislike this, but I see a problem with time constraints. I also see, however, a potential for great collaborations with colleagues anywhere.

  2. Hi Julie,

Not sure how I missed your blog posting, but see that you've been busy at posting those blogs since we started using them. I find myself going to my blog a few times each week. Not sure what I'm expecting to find but just like the idea of putting blog postings out there and of course only allow a certain few to post comments. Keep up the great work!
